ABDURRAHEEM GREEN
CEO
Abdur Raheem Green, is a British convert to Islam who is known in some Muslim communities for his work in Dawah, both in televised formal settings and informal contexts such as Hyde Park’s Speakers Corner. He is the chairman of iERA, the Islamic Education and Research Academy. Abdurraheem Green is live on Stream Islam twice a week with his E-Reminders podcast and A Peace of Cake podcast.

Abdul Haqq Baker is an academic and religious leader. Currently residing in the Middle East, he was the previous chairman of Brixton Mosque. He is an author, founder of STREET & STRAP groups. Hassan has been a manager at Stream Islam since it was a radion station in 2012 and considers it a lifeline for his Deen and Emaan and is grateful to Allah for the opportunity to be a part of the team.

Nadeem Ashraf has been involved in the da’wah since late 90s. He is a senior member of the Pakistan based da’wah organisation Youth Club. A volunteer with iERA & founder of the Da’wah motivation network. Main passions and area of work are in the fields of da’wah training, street da’wah and general mentoring of teams and young duaat. Brother Nadeem is a host on the Dawah Hour podcast.

Video Editor & Producer
Belal is a student in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK and a video editor and producer for Stream Islam. Our youngest member at only 13, Masha Allah Tabarak Allah, he works as hard and is as diligent as any 30 year old corporate! A very valued member of the team who is always volunteering to help on many tasks outside of his remit.

Video Editor, Producer & an Administrator of playlists
Is-Haaq is a student in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK and a video editor and producer for Stream Islam. He has been a valued member of the team for many years now. He carries out the vital task of preparing all our live streams and transforming them into an audio podcast format for Apple, Google & Spotify. He also keeps all of our playlists up to date and in check, Alhamdulillah.

Twitter extraudinere and valued member of the Stream Islam team. He makes sure all our content and #’s etc are all on point for a better experience for the audience. Our brother Rudolph has been around in the dawah scene for many years and is well known for his dedication to the dawah, Alhamdulillah.

Jazzy Jeff as was his presenter name in 2012 on “The Jazzy Jeff show”! Now Ajaz is a valued member of the Management Team and oversees all IT & Logistics involved in the project.

AT as he’s fondly known as within the team is a pioneer in the Dawah scene and founded Stream Islam over 10 years ago as it was a local radio station in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. He guides the team with his vision and experience which is priceless, Alhamdulillah.

Sohail is a founding member of Stream Islam and aided in its growth from infancy as a local Ramadan radio station to now being a global platform. Sohail has guided much of the team with his wisdom and experience and continues to do so, Alhamdulillah.

Ruweyda is our administrator extraordinaire. She makes sure all the T’s are crossed and the I’s are dotted! Alhamdulillah, she is a backbone of the project and an important cog in the machine that is Stream Islam.

Ikram is currently a full time student. She also volunteers for IDC North East where she is mainly involved in the HYPE (helping young people evolve) project – a programme aimed at supporting Muslim youth in the North East. Ikram enjoys going to fitness, travelling and reading in her free time. Ikram hosts the Sisters Speak podcast.
Abu-Tayeb

For over 20 years and counting, Abu-Tayeb has been actively involved in multiple projects ranging from youth work, out reach, feeding the elderly and the poor. As well as educating no-Muslims and Muslims about Islam. Moreover, he delivers lectures at universities and much more. He if the Founder of IDC North East in Newcastle (UK) which has been running for 20 years. He has also been involved in the HYPE project which has been providing many avenues for the youth to get support, find friends and mentors and develop in their Islam, and works closely with iERA on many of their projects. Abu-Tayeb is the host of the Muslim Geordie podcast.
Imran Mollagee

Imraan Mollagee is a student of Islamic Knowledge, a teacher and a caller to Islam. He is from Cape Town South Africa, and he started his journey studying the religion of Islam by memorizing the Noble Qur’an at the age of 15, in the year 2004. He was accepted to study at the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah and began his pursuit of knowledge in the Arabic Institute (Ma’had al-Lugha) wherein he completed the two-year course for a Diploma in the Arabic Language. Thereafter, he entered the Faculty of Shari’ah (Islamic Law) and completed the four-year Bachelor’s degree by the year 2016 with a distinction, al Hamdu lillah. Qualifications: Ijazah in Qiraat and Hadith, Ph.d Hadith from Egypt, Certified Marriage & Family Counsellor. Currently Doing ph.d Research in Prophetic Medicine (Hijama & Ruqyah) in College of Hikma Sudan & Psychological Counselling in Cairo University. Tabinda Hussain

An Ustaadah who has spent the last 20+ years journeying with The Quran, Tafseer, Quranic Arabic and grammar. She became a Haafidhah of the Quran with the Help of Allah. She has attained much of her knowledge with her own commitment and determination, a self taught student of knowledge, studying an array of authentic books from The scholars of Islam, Books of hadith and many more. She has also completed a certified tafseer course with Dr. Farhat Hashmi of Al Huda. With her zeal to understand the Words of Allah in a greater degree, she has also become proficient in the field of arabic grammar and Quran Arabic. In her journey towards learning and teaching Quran she has inspired many and invited the sisters of her community towards the correct beliefs of Islam. She teaches weekly tafseer classes – both in Urdu and English, and a yearly summarised Quran tafseer completion in the month of Ramadan.
