ABDURRAHEEM GREEN
CEO
Abdur Raheem Green, is a British convert to Islam who is known in some Muslim communities for his work in Dawah, both in televised formal settings and informal contexts such as Hyde Park’s Speakers Corner. He is the chairman of iERA, the Islamic Education and Research Academy. Abdurraheem Green is live on Stream Islam twice a week with his E-Reminders podcast and A Peace of Cake podcast.

Our youngest member at only 13, Masha Allah Tabarak Allah, he works as hard and is as diligent as any 30 year old corporate! s-Haaq is a student in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK and a video editor and producer for Stream Islam. He has been a valued member of the team for many years now. He carries out the vital task of preparing all our live streams and transforming them into an audio podcast format for Apple, Google & Spotify. Sohail is a founding member of the IDC North East team and has been involved in dawah for over 20 years. He has lead the HYPE youth mentorship program and authored some dawah material which you may have come across or passed out at your local dawah events. Ruweyda works as an administrator for stream Islam and the IDC North East. She also volunteers for the Islamic Diversity Centre where she is mainly involved in the HYPE (helping young people evolve) project – a programme aimed at supporting Muslim youth in the North East. In her own time, she studies biotechnology and hopes to pursue a PhD in molecular biology. Ruweyda is also an avid gym goer and enjoys playing badminton in her free time. Ruweyda is the host of the Sisters Speak podcast.

As well as educating no-Muslims and Muslims about Islam. Moreover, he delivers lectures at universities and much more. He if the Founder of IDC North East in Newcastle (UK) which has been running for 20 years. He has also been involved in the HYPE project which has been providing many avenues for the youth to get support, find friends and mentors and develop in their Islam, and works closely with iERA on many of their projects. Imraan Mollagee is a student of Islamic Knowledge, a teacher and a caller to Islam. He is from Cape Town South Africa, and he started his journey studying the religion of Islam by memorizing the Noble Qur’an at the age of 15, in the year 2004. He was accepted to study at the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah and began his pursuit of knowledge in the Arabic Institute (Ma’had al-Lugha) wherein he completed the two-year course for a Diploma in the Arabic Language. Thereafter, he entered the Faculty of Shari’ah (Islamic Law) and completed the four-year Bachelor’s degree by the year 2016 with a distinction, al Hamdu lillah. An Ustaadah who has spent the last 20+ years journeying with The Quran, Tafseer, Quranic Arabic and grammar. She became a Haafidhah of the Quran with the Help of Allah. She has attained much of her knowledge with her own commitment and determination, a self taught student of knowledge, studying an array of authentic books from The scholars of Islam, Books of hadith and many more. She has also completed a certified tafseer course with Dr. Farhat Hashmi of Al Huda. With her zeal to understand the Words of Allah in a greater degree, she has also become proficient in the field of arabic grammar and Quran Arabic. In her journey towards learning and teaching Quran she has inspired many and invited the sisters of her community towards the correct beliefs of Islam. She teaches weekly tafseer classes – both in Urdu and English, and a yearly summarised Quran tafseer completion in the month of Ramadan.
